Day 4 of Clean Eating Jambalaya
Today for lunch I made Jambalaya. Its always been a favorite of ours ever since we moved to California 15 years ago. There was this wonderful restaurant called the Crocodile Cafe right in the heart of our little downtown Burbank. My husband and I would go there very regularly for their Tortilla Soup and Jambalaya. Day 3 of Clean Eating, Homemade Mac and Cheese
Today for lunch I made one of my family's all time favorites, whole chicken in the crock pot. It's very quick for dish to make. I cut a large onion in half and put it on the bottom of the crock pot, add the whole chicken and spice it by following this recipe from 100 Days of Real Food. Let it cook for 4 hours in the crock pot on low and voila and succulent, juicy chicken every time. Personally I buy the whole organic chickens from Costco.
